Bemporad's art is based on the repetition of the painterly mark. Indeed, the mark is the true protagonist of Bemporad's art. The mark is presented in proliferations of identical elements, but never identical: they are never mechanically elaborated modules but discrete elements that are part of an organic whole, each bearing a diversity (in size, in color). This work from 1978 juxtaposes two colors, yellow and blue, applied in heterogeneous color fields but in harmony with each other. These broad brushstrokes of color alternate with each other regularly, but never the same. A true masterpiece
